Most adults think that kids’ palates are too simple to appreciate certain foods, but I disagree.  Why should you be denied something sensational just because you are under the age of 18, or 8, for that matter? Just a tiny taste of something new can change your whole life!  Imagine if you had never been brave enough to taste ice cream??

I recently went to Thomas Keller’s new restaurant Bouchon in Beverly Hills, and while everything was delicious, my favorite dish was one of the desserts, an Ile Flottant (floating island) with Salted Caramel Sauce.  Since I know you guys already like ice cream, why not just try this creamy, sweet/salty caramel dish, and let me know what you think?
