Autumn & Winter Cooking

Fall is in the air, Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and we are really getting into the cooking spirit at Little Feet In The Kitchen!

Tomorrow is our last day of the “Julia Child-ren” after school cooking series, and we are so sad!  In this series, we have made all kinds of delicious Julia dishes such as Pommes Anna, Gratin Dauphinois, Reine De Saba Gateau, Quiche Lorraine and Boeuf Bourguignon… and that’s just to name a few!  Check out the tarte tatin some of my students made a few weeks ago — how delicious does this look?

We look forward to making Ms. Child’s chocolate souffle tomorrow, along with a special Iron Chef challenge.

The Tuesday After-School Cooking Series will continue, though, and starting November 23, we will be doing a special Iron Chef series with a new “secret ingredient” each week.  But once a week is not nearly enough cooking in this weather, so we are adding some weekend holiday classes just in time for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Hannukah — NOT TO MENTION our special WINTER COOKING CAMP, which is all about CELEBRATIONS!!  We are going to celebrate five winter holidays through cooking the week of January 3-7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, including art projects, guest chefs and a special field trip.

FOR ALL THE CLASS DETAILS, PLEASE CLICK ON “COOKING CLASSES” ON THIS SITE and reserve your space now!

Meanwhile… I have a question:  what’s the best thing you have ever made during the holidays?  Please post your favorite recipes here!  I hope to see you soon, but in the meantime, happy cooking and Bon Appetit!
